When working with me, you can expect more than just a website. Let me elaborate a little bit.
I pride myself in offering personal service to every client. If possible, we meet at least once in person or have an online chat. I like getting to know the owner of the website I will be working on in order to develop a web presence that actually reflects their personality and business.
Responsiveness and Reliability
A constant flow of communication is key, and I make sure my clients are always in the know: I respond to every inquiry within 24 hours on weekdays and send frequent updates (i.e. typically daily) on the progress made in a project.
Client Empowerment: Your Website is Yours
Your website is yours and you will have full control and access. At the end of a project I hand over all the access information to the client. Every website has a license of the theme used, so the software can be updated in the future. This is a big deal. Many web designers seem to be using copies of their own licenses, so their clients are unable to perform the necessary updates of their theme software, unless they purchase a license themselves. Sometimes they are unaware of this until their theme is obsolete and causing problems.
The beauty of a WordPress website is its flexibility: hosting, domain name registration, the theme – the client can pick whichever option they are most comfortable with. Even better yet, if at some point you would like to make a change like switching the theme or hosting company, you can do so without having to start from scratch. Also, with WordPress being so widely used (it’s by far the most popular content management system), there will always be a developer around who can assist with WordPress. After completion of a project, I offer in-person training or a training video for the client to keep, teaching them the necessary skills to perform basic maintenance themselves, if they would like to do so.
